No, the pricing is for the software subscription only. Why? Because we don't know what hardware you already have, and what you need. Please see our Purchasing FAQ for more information on the hardware you'll need, and where to get it.
Generally, yes. Each period is prepaid and we don't offer refunds, but you can switch at the end of any subscription period. The continuity discount will be applied if appropriate (e.g. if you've been paying monthly for 12 or more consecutive months, you can switch to yearly with the continuity discount).
We want Velogic Studio to be accessible to any commercial bikefitter. You can start on a monthly plan, with very small initial investment, from $300 monthly for Velogic Studio v4 Essentials. But we also want to reward users who stick with us for the long term. Therefore, our prices drop by 60% after the first year of continuous subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you'll need to start again at the first-year rate when you rejoin.
For Velogic Studio v3 users: you have 2 options.
1. You can either stay on your current pricing, and move to Velogic Studio v4 Essentials.

2. You can upgrade to Velogic Studio v4 Pro at the new pricing levels structure
Velogic Studio v3 is now considered "sunset", and you'll have until 4 Dec 2024 to transition to v4. Note that v4 has everything that v3 has, and a lot more, so you've got nothing to lose (and a lot to gain) by moving to v4.
