3DM: Upgrade guide
velogicfit 3D Motion V2 uses a completely different installer technology to V1 (also known as velogicfit Pro).
This guide will take you step-by-step through the process of upgrading to 3D Motion V2. It should only take a couple of minutes.
Step 1: Install 3D Motion V2
3D Motion V2 is installed through the Microsoft App Store.
You can click this link (or just open the Microsoft Store app your PC and search for “3D Motion”). Then simply click the “Get” button:
… and the app will be automatically downloaded and installed to your computer.
We recommend that you choose the option to “Pin to Taskbar” (click the “…” button first) so that the app is easy to find:
… then click “Launch” and the app will start. Note that you will need to sign-in with your velogicfit username and password. (If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking “Forgot password” from the website’s login page)
Step 2: Configure 3D Motion V2
Click the “SETTINGS” button on the first page of the app to open a Settings window.
Go through each of the tabs and make any changes that are necessary. In particular, you will want to set a store name and logo (on the “Store” tab) so that these are shown correctly on the report.
Note that you can now set a specific folder for reports and fit videos to be saved under – so if you use a file sync service like OneDrive or Dropbox, you can specify a folder inside that service so that your fit reports are automatically backed up and available online.
Step 3: Remove 3D Motion V1
Press the Windows key (or click on the Start menu icon on your desktop) and type “Add or remove programs”
Type “velogicfit Pro” in the Apps & Features search box, and click the Uninstall button:
… confirm that you really want to uninstall, and the app will be removed from your computer.
All done! You can now use 3D Motion V2 simply by clicking the icon in your task bar, or clicking your Start menu and typing “3D Motion”.
